In September, Allied Solutions hosted its 14th annual United Way campaign. Through employee and corporate pledges, Allied Solutions raised $169,000 that will support 60 United Way chapters across the country.
During the United Way campaign, Allied’s commitment to community extended beyond donations. The company hosted volunteer events in every community where Allied has offices. Employees volunteered at United Way partner agencies serving neighbors facing food insecurity, empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to thrive in their community and supporting the mental health and well-being of kids.
The campaign theme of Empowering People. Unlocking Change. resulted in employee engagement with the campaign and awareness of the needs in the communities where we live and work. A total of 460 Allied Solutions employees participated in volunteer or campaign activities.
“United Way and its partner agencies are vital links within our communities. They empower individuals to unlock change in their lives and their communities,” said Allied Solutions CEO Pete Hilger. “It’s a privilege to make an impact in our communities and support our neighbors through our annual campaign.”
During the campaign, Allied Solutions also hosted a golf outing fundraiser to benefit long-time partner, the Emily Thomas Foundation. The event raised more than $180,000 that will help children reach their full potential through programs supporting educational and social development.
