In conjunction with its newly launched community engagement strategy, Allied Solutions today reported an increase of 317 percent in its employee volunteerism in 2023, along with continued corporate philanthropic investments in the communities where the company’s employees live and work. The company of more than 1,800 employees is headquartered in Carmel, Indiana.
Last year, Allied Solutions’ employees contributed more than 3,233 hours of volunteer time in their communities, participating in volunteer activities, supporting a United Way engagement campaign and using a new volunteer time off benefit. The number of employee volunteer hours in the community is equivalent to more than $100,000, using Independent Sector’s annually updated value of volunteer time. The company also donated more than $1.36 million to nonprofit organizations.
“We have a long history of giving back to our communities,” said Pete Hilger, CEO, Allied Solutions. “In the past year, we have increased our financial contributions and the amount of time spent volunteering at local nonprofits. These additional donated resources make our communities more connected and help our neighbors.”
To reflect on and celebrate these contributions to supporting vibrant communities, Allied Solutions has published an inaugural Community Impact Report, containing information and data regarding the company’s commitment to community and employee engagement. “It’s not just the company’s investment,” said Ashima Kapur, senior vice president, human resources and chief diversity officer, Allied Solutions. “It’s the investment of time our employees have given to support nonprofit organizations doing good in their communities. We couldn’t be prouder to have a workforce that has helped Allied grow our commitment to these organizations and the communities they serve.”
